SRS provides response and recovery activities and oversees related activities performed by others. For a wetland project in Indiana, SRS deployed a boat and oil booms to contain and recover oil sheen. Oil sheen had resulted from historical releases of oil related products in to the wetland.

At another site in Indiana, an oil discharge into the Calumet River resulted in a response by the potentially responsible party under the oversight of USEPA and its contractor, SRS. We provided daily oversight in the deployment of the oil boom and recovery operations and environmental monitoring to ascertain impacts to the surroundings.
