VENTURA, CA / January 11, 2024 / Oneida ESC Group of Companies is excited to announce that SRS, a sister company to Oneida Professional Services, has secured a contract award for the USNCC (US Naval Community College) Adjunct Faculty Program. Twenty instructors were deployed for the Fall Term 2023 and for the Spring Term 2024 for this new customer, with potential for a future increase to meet the needs of the developing program.

The USNCC Adjunct Faculty Program began with several rounds of pilot programs and has now successfully expanded and launched a program to offer thousands of college students the opportunity to earn a two-year associate degree. The program works with partner institutions for students to secure a degree and there is a potential for expanding further.

“Drawing from our successful involvement and building upon pilot programs in the past, we continue forward with the program’s success,” states Jeff Howell, Director of Operations at Oneida Professional Services. SRS and Battelle Memorial Institute are in an SBA-approved mentor-protégé program. As Battelle’s protégé, SRS plans to expand our capabilities and increase our potential for business success for environmental services. Created in 2013, SRS has grown and developed primarily through contracts for environmental remediation.

Battelle provides environmental technology expertise and world-class analytical services to remediate complex sites—expertise aligned with SRS’s technical and management development goals. They will support SRS to navigate federal contract bidding, acquisition, and performance processes and with business development, including strategy and identifying contracting and partnership opportunities.

Through the MPP, which has a term of three years with opportunity for extensions, SRS looks forward to expanding our applied science capability for advanced environmental remediation technologies, with an emphasis on innovative site characterization and remediation technologies, especially applied to emerging contaminants.
