Safety and Quality Management
Oneida Engineering Solutions has mature, in-place safety and quality management programs that are designed to meet client and regulatory requirements. Our programs and training requirements reflect our commitment to a safe working environment that meets customer needs, allows for continuous improvement and best practices, and uses teamwork to find practical, adaptive, and safe solutions to changing field conditions.
Safety training is a significant element in ensuring that all employees have the best knowledge of hazards that exist within the workplace while meeting the expectations of individual clients. Training begins on the first day of employment, when all employees’ orientation includes a discussion of health and safety protocols and training expectations based on individual job responsibilities. Typical training for field employees includes either OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training, First Aid/CPR/AED training, and Traffic Safety training. Each employee is provided with the proper personal protection equipment.
Hallmarks of our Safety and Quality Programs:
- Our corporate “Good Catch” safety and quality philosophy to help employees be more cognizant of hazardous situations
- Accountability from the start with new hire orientations that describe compliance with our expectations, culture, and commitment to high performance through safety and quality
- Ergonomic assessments to ensure a comfortable office work environment
Safety is our first priority. Oneida ESC offers a safety recognition and incentive program for employees that has helped us maintain our excellent H&S record.
