OTIE was the General Contractor for Oneida Golf Enterprise to make the necessary improvements to the site and facility to accommodate the LPGA tournament that was held at Thornberry Creek at Oneida in July 2017.

OTIE’s duties included performing demolition, wood framing, installation of doors, restrooms accessories and other miscellaneous construction tasks. The interior improvements included bringing the building up to code along with the addition of an elevator and construction of the locker room and bar areas. The exterior site work, included enlarging the parking lots and working with the golf course architect to increase the size of the driving range and practice greens. The renovations created more parking, larger pond capacity, and upgrades to the lighting and landscaping. Project highlights include:

• OTIE completed the improvements on time to meet the LPGA Classic timeframe in early July 2017
• Oneida ESC, OTIE’s parent company, sponsored a hospitality area for retired and reserve military veterans during the week of the LPGA tournament
• In the next phase, OTIE will provide design and construction of a new cart storage facility
