OE’s biologists and environmental scientists conduct both species-specific and broadly-scoped biological surveys, and document the results in the formats required by our customers and regulatory agencies. We have a thorough understanding of state, local, and federal regulatory requirements and understand how to streamline the process of regulatory approval and keep our customer’s critical activities on schedule. We perform these surveys as stand-alone studies as well as integral components of larger studies, such as Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) and Environmental Assessments (EAs). We specialize in the following areas:
- National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) studies
- Wetland delineation, permitting, and mitigation
- Integrated Natural Resource Management Plans (INRMPs) and Biological Assessments
- Threatened and endangered species and general wildlife surveys
- Exotic and invasive species surveys and control
- Fish and aquatic species surveys
- Submerged aquatic vegetation surveys
- Avian species surveys
- Bat surveys
- Herpetofauna surveys
- Flora surveys
